@BSEIndia Has Come Out with a Circular... As expected, Sensex30 Will Be Available For Weekly Expiry & it will continue to be on Friday.
For Monthly Expiry, we will have Bankex, Sensex 30 & Sensex 50. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has decided to discontinue the weekly derivatives contracts for both the SENSEX 50 and BANKEX indices, effective from November 2024. This decision follows a directive from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), which aims to adjust the structure of derivatives trading in India. Here's a breakdown of what this means: SENSEX 50 Weekly Derivatives: These will cease to be available for trading after November 14, 2024. Any contracts already in place will continue until their respective expiry dates. BANKEX Weekly Derivatives: Similarly, these will no longer be offered for trading post-November 18, 2024, with existing contracts honored until they expire.
