ராஜராஜ சோழனுக்கும், திரிபுவனமாதேவிக்கும் மார்கழி திருவாதிரையன்று
பிறந்தவன் ராஜேந்திர சோழன். இயற்பெயர் மதுராந்தகன். இவனது ஆட்சிக்காலம்
கி.பி. 1012- 1044. கடல் கடந்து பல நாடுகளை வென்றதால் இவனுக்கு "கடாரம்
கொண்டான்' என்ற பட்டம் கிடைத்தது.
இராசேந்திர சோழன் மார்கழி திங்கள் திருஆதிரை (திருவாதிரை) நட்சத்திரத்தில் பிறந்தான்.இராசேந்திர சோழன் மகுடம் சூடியபோது (கி.பி.1012) ஏறத்தால 50 வயது உடையவராக இருந்தார்.
தன் தந்தை தஞ்சாவூரில் கட்டிய கோயிலைப்போல், கங்கைகொண்ட சோழபுரத்தில் பெரிய கோயில் கட்டி, லிங்கத்தையும் நந்தியையும் பெரிதாக பிரதிஷ்டை செய்தான். தஞ்சாவூரைப்போலவே சிவனுக்கு பிரகதீஸ்வரர் என்றும், அம்மனுக்கு பெரியநாயகி என்றும் பெயர் சூட்டினான். கோயில் கும்பாபிஷேகத்திற்கு தன்னிடம் தோற்ற மன்னர்களை கங்கையிலிருந்து தண்ணீரை தலையில் சுமந்து கொண்டு வரச்செய்து அபிஷேகம் செய்தான். இதனால் இவ்வூர் "கங்கை கொண்ட சோழபுரம்' ஆனது.
கும்பாபிஷேக நீரை கோயிலுக்குள்ளேயே கிணறு தோண்டி அதில் வடியச்செய்து, அதன் மேல் தனது சின்னமான சிங்கத்தின் சிலையை வடித்தான். கோயிலுக்கு வரும் போதெல்லாம் இந்த கங்கை நீரை தலையில் தெளித்து கொண்ட பின்பே சிவனை தரிசனம் செய்வான்.
தமிழகத்திலேயே மிகப்பெரிய லிங்கம் இங்கு தான் உள்ளது. இங்குள்ள நந்தி சுண்ணாம்பு கல்லில் செய்யப்பட்டு தரையில் அமர்ந்துள்ளது. இங்கு மூலஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து 200 மீட்டர் இடைவெளியில் உள்ளது. தினமும் பகலில் இந்த நந்தியின் மீது சூரிய ஒளிபட்டு, அந்த ஒளி கருவறையில் உள்ள லிங்கத்தின் மீது பிரதிபலிப்பது மிகவும் சிறப்பு. மூலஸ்தானத்தில் உள்ள விளக்குகளை அணைத்து விட்டு இருட்டில் லிங்கத்தைப் பார்த்தால் மிகவும் அற்புதமாக இந்த ஒளி தெரியும் வகையில் வடிவமைத்துள்ளனர் நம் சிற்ப வல்லுனர்கள். கோபுர கலசத்தின் நிழல் கீழே விழுவது கிடையாது. கருவறையில் உள்ள லிங்கத்தின் அடியில் சந்திரகாந்த கல் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன் சிறப்பு என்னவென்றால், வெயில் காலத்தில் வெப்பத்தை குறைத்து குளிர்ச்சியை கொடுக்கும். குளிர் காலத்தில் குளிர்ச்சியை குறைத்து இதமான வெப்பத்தை தரும். பெரிய நாயகி அம்மன் பெயருக்கேற்றாற் போல் 9.5 அடி உயரத்தில் பிரமாண்டமாக அருள்பாலிக்கிறாள். இங்குள்ள நவக்கிரகம் மற்ற கோயில்களை போல் இல்லாமல், ஒரே கல்லில் தாமரைப்பூ வடிவில் மிகவும் சிறப்பாக அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Natural Gas - Book Profit

From today it was in short...never ever crossed our Red Level...and hit the last level long back..
